Join me as I recount my spiritual rebirth and the extraordinary path of faith that I\u2019ve been walking ever since.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"is-style-dots wp-block-separator has-text-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-background\" style=\"background-color:#3f0586;color:#3f0586\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-text-color has-background has-small-font-size\" style=\"color:#445d48;background-color:#fdf0f0\"><strong>From Darkness to Light: My Darkest Moments<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-small-font-size\">Six years ago, I found myself in a dark place \u2014 <em>spiritually, physically, emotionally, and mentally<\/em>. Toxic relationships, alcohol addiction, and an autoimmune disease (type 1 diabetes) led to a severely depressed, anxious, and unhealthy version of myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">There were multiple occasions when I landed myself in the hospital due to the lethal combination of alcohol consumption and uncontrolled blood sugar levels. My final week-long, comatose stay at the hospital shook me to my core and forced me to take a much-needed reflection on my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"is-style-dots wp-block-separator has-text-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-background\" style=\"background-color:#3f0586;color:#3f0586\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-text-color has-background has-normal-font-size\" style=\"color:#445d48;background-color:#fdf0f0\"><strong>The Wake-Up Call: Sobriety vs. Addiction<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">The first night home from the hospital was perhaps the longest night of my entire life. For hours, I lay awake, wrestling with questions about the meaning of life and my purpose. Suddenly, I heard a clear and resounding voice in my mind:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-small-font-size\">&nbsp;<strong>\u201cLIFE or DEATH?\u201d<\/strong><br><strong>\u201cALCOHOL or YOUR SON?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-small-font-size\">(<em>This haunting ultimatum echoed relentlessly, compelling me to make a definitive decision.<\/em>)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Never before had I considered this undeniably black-and-white reality. My &#8220;Dark Night of the Soul&#8221;, however, forced a perspective shift that left me with only one conceivable option&#8230; <em>I think it&#8217;s safe to say that you can all guess my choice!<\/em> &#x1f609;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"is-style-dots wp-block-separator has-text-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-background\" style=\"background-color:#3f0586;color:#3f0586\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-text-color has-background has-normal-font-size\" style=\"color:#445d48;background-color:#fdf0f0\"><strong>Surrendering to God: A Turning Point<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Deciding to embark on a new journey was<em> essentially<\/em> the easy part; the real challenge lay in creating an entirely new lifestyle void of toxicity and, instead, replaced with healthy alternatives, behaviors, &amp; boundaries. Eliminating alcohol as my go-to liquid fuel source &amp; only crutch for confidence, I found myself starting over as this vulnerable, scared, and uncertain hollow vessel. The ONLY thing that remained was hope. Therefore, I fully understood there was no way I could endure this journey alone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">I felt broken, utterly weak, and lost. Through tears and desperate prayers, I reached the point of complete surrender to God. I earnestly begged Him to hear my heart and respond to my soul&#8217;s call, if He was anywhere out there listening&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"convertkit-form wp-block-convertkit-form\" style=\"\"><script async data-uid=\"d315fe712e\" src=\"https:\/\/fabulous-motivator-1678.kit.com\/d315fe712e\/index.js\" data-jetpack-boost=\"ignore\" data-no-defer=\"1\" nowprocket><\/script><\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-text-color has-background has-normal-font-size\" style=\"color:#445d48;background-color:#fdf0f0\"><strong>Divine Encounter: Embracing God&#8217;s Presence<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">During a deep meditation session, I experienced an undeniable encounter with God. His Holy Spirit enveloped me, flooding my being with an overwhelming sense of peace, joy, bliss, and indescribable love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">In that profound moment, every cell in my body seemed to vibrate with His Love. What&#8217;s more, I could vividly perceive God&#8217;s Presence radiating throughout the external world. It has instilled patience within me during times of uncertainty, compassion, and forgiveness towards those who\u2019ve hurt me, and the resilience to face adversity with unwavering trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Of course, my journey hasn&#8217;t been without its challenges! There were times when I questioned my faith and faced difficult trials. However, through each challenge, my faith only grew stronger. I learned that doubt is a natural part of this journey and can actually lead to even deeper faith when faced with sincerity and openness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">In conclusion, my faith has been the guiding light in my life. It has given me strength during the toughest times and offered boundless comfort.
